Rural Business Investment Scheme Announced
Funding has been announced for new and existing rural businesses under the Rural Business Investment Scheme.
Within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council and Belfast City Council areas new rural business start-ups can apply for funding up to £30,000, while existing rural businesses can receive up to £50,000.
A number of information events are to be held for those interested in making an application under the scheme – attendance at an information event is a prerequisite of the application.
Information events include:
• Thu 1 Feb 08:00-10:00 Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn
• Thu 1 Feb 19:00-21:00 Moneyreagh Community Centre, Moneyreagh
• Wed 7 Feb 13:30-15:30 Cregagh Youth & Community Centre, Belfast
• Thu 8 Feb 19:00-21:00 St. Clare's Community Hall, Glenavy
• Tue 13 Feb 19:00-21:00 Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn
