PSNI Issue Warning To Students After 'Partying' In The Holylands Area
The PSNI have issued a warning to students after a group of 50 to 100 adults were partying in the street in the Holylands area of south Belfast at around 3am on Tuesday, 30 January.
The students also lit a fire and were playing very loud music.
The crowd quickly dispersed as soon as the police arrived, however one male was taken away for disorderly behaviour.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Imagine taking up thousands of pounds in debt to study your favourite subject, only to get thrown out of uni because of your behaviour.
"Students - this is your only warning. We will be back tonight and any offences or anti-social behaviour will be dealt with robustly. Universities will be involved and you will be disciplined. Is it worth it for a party? Is it worth it for some drink?"

Figures released by the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) on Thursday August 16 show a record 48,000 grades have been issued to Northern Ireland students across all exam boards.
