Man Attacked By Armed Gang In North Belfast
A man has been attacked by a gang of armed men at a house in north Belfast.
The assault happened in the Oakley Street area in the early hours of Wednesday, 14 February.
The victim was punched in the head and a front window of the property was also smashed.
One man was armed with a sword and the other men had bats and bars.
Three of the suspects were wearing balaclavas.
The man armed with a sword was not wearing a balaclava. He been described as around 19 or 20 years old, approximately 5ft 7inches in height, of thin build with dark hair which was brushed forward.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Armed With Samurai Sword Robs Off-Licence
Police are appealing for information after a man wielding a samurai sword robbed a business in east Belfast. An off-licence in the Woodstock Road area was targeted at around 8.45pm on Sunday evening, 15 September, by a man armed with the 2' long sword. The suspect demanded cash and ran off with a sum of money in the direction of the Cregagh Road.

Man Attacked By Masked Men Armed With Hammer
A man has required hospital treatment after he was beaten with a hammer during an aggravated burglary in Ahoghill, County Antrim. Police responded to the incident on Brook Street last night, Thursday 03 May at 11pm. Three masked men forced their way into the home and attacked the victim, a male aged in his 30s, who was home alone at the time.

Police Justified In Using AEP Baton Rounds And Tasers Against Armed Man
Police were justified in using AEP baton rounds and Tasers against a man armed with machete-type sword, the Police Ombudsman has concluded. Witnesses reported that the man had used the swords to hit himself on the head and cut his throat in the Stiles Way area of Antrim in the early hours of 17 January 2015.

Appeal Following Two Robberies In County Down
Police are appealing for information following two robberies in County Down. A man armed with a sword entered a food outlet in Ballykinler and threatened staff on Monday at around 10.20pm. However, he was chased by staff and made-off empty handed. In another incident an hour later a man armed with a sword robbed a service station in Castlewellan.
