Sinn Féin To Meet With Taoiseach Following Talks Collapse
Sinn Féin is to meet with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar after talks to restore power-sharing in Northern Ireland collapsed.
President Mary Lou McDonald and vice president Michelle O'Neill are also planning to travel to London to meet with Prime Minister Theresa May.
Teachta McDonald said: "The decision by the DUP to walk away from a draft deal and collapse the talks process cannot be allowed to further impede the rights of citizens and the implementation of existing agreements.
"Language rights, marriage equality and access to inquests are rights available to everybody else on this island and in Britain. They are not republican issues. They are people issues. These rights are for the whole of society.
"Michelle and I will be telling the Taoiseach and the British Prime Minister it is the responsibility of the two governments to implement the agreements on legacy and an Irish Language Act and to provide for marriage equality.
"We will also make it clear to both government that a return to direct rule from London is not an option."

Queen’s to debate future of Human Rights Commissions
The future of Human Rights Commissions in the UK and Ireland will be examined at Queen's University Belfast this week. The Human Rights Centre at the Queen's School of Law, in co-operation with the Faculty of Law, University of Bristol, will hold a half-day conference in Belfast on Friday on the role of both Commissions.

Teen Denies Police Murder Charge
A teenager has appeared in court to deny murdering police officer Constable Stephen Carroll, 48, who was shot dead in Craigavon on Monday 9 March. He was in the dock at Lisburn Magistrates Court where the court was told he "made no reply to the charges", when they were put to him.
