Woman Tied Up By Burglars In Co Down

A woman has been left shaken after being tied up by burglars in Co Down.

The incident happened at a property on the School Road, just outside Clough, at around 1pm on Monday, 19 February.

Two masked men entered the house and made off with an iPad, a Mc Book and a grey coloured Peugeot 206 car.

A fire was also started in a room upstairs, however two people plassing helped the woman, aged in her 50's, escape uninjured.

Emergency services attended the scene and put the blaze out, but significant damage was caused.

The car was discovered burnt out at The Old Mill in Castlewellan just after midnight on Tuesday, 20 February.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim

A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
