MLA Salaries Expected To Be Debated At Westminster

MLA's salaries are expected to be debated at Westminster on Wednesday, 21 March.

Northern Ireland Secretary Karen Bradley is seeking legal power to reduce politicians' wages after the collapse of the Executive.

Earlier this month, Mrs Bradley said she was "minded" to reduce their pay by 27.5%.

She said she would discuss the issue with political parties before making a final decision.

Secretary Of State 'Minded' To Reduce MLA's Pay
The Secretary of State has confirmed that she is "minded" to reduce MLA's pay following the collapse of the Stormont talks. Speaking in the House of Commons, Karen Bradley said she would discuss the issue with political parties in Northern before deciding on the 27.5% cut in wages.
