Police Appeal For Help To Identify Man Found Collapsed On Road
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was discovered lying on a road in Toome, Co Antrim on Sunday, 08 April
At around 07.10pm, police received a report that a man had been discovered lying collapsed on the Roguery Road with a bicycle next to him.
The man was transferred to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Police are now trying to identify the victim.
Inspector Alison Ferguson said: "He is in his late 50s, of thin build, approximately 6 foot tall with short grey hair. He was wearing a silver chain around his neck, black cycling bottoms, a high visibility cycling jacket and a long sleeved black top underneath a navy-coloured T-shirt with a shark motif on the left side.
"The bicycle is a silver-coloured 'Specialized Allez'."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1124 of 08/04/18/

Witness Appeal After Stabbing Incident In Downpatrick
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an assault in the Ardilea Park area of Downpatrick in the early hours of Sunday morning, 10 December. A 22-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds at a house in the Killough Road area just after 4am. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
