Hatfield Bar Reopens Following Police Search
The Hatfield Bar in south Belfast has reopened following a search operation by the PSNI and customs officers.
Four PSNI land rovers, a police van and three HMRC cars arrived at the Ormeau Road site just before 12 noon on Monday, 14 May.
A spokesperson for the Hatfield Bar said: "The PSNI attended our premises today as part of a multi agency approach to ensure compliance with NI licensing law provisions.
"PSNI officers have informed us that we are one of a number of licensed premises in the city who are being visited.
"In order to facilitate a timely and effective process for PSNI we agreed to close for a few hours.
"We are now open for business as usual."

A 51-year-old has been fined for bonfire-related waste offences at Newtownards Magistrates' Court. Gareth Gill, of Abbot's Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in the town.

Man Detained After Injuring Two PSNI Officers During Arrest
Two PSNI officers have been injured as they transported a man to custody. The man, aged in his 40s, had been arrested in connection with a domestic incident in the Ennislare Road area at around 2.45am on Saturday 15 April. As officers transferred the man to custody, he became agitated and aggressive.
