Belfast Production Firm Launches Summer Internship For Students
A production firm in Belfast has launched its annual summer internship for students who would like a career in the television industry.
Stellify Media, who revamped 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' and 'Blind Date' said the scheme aims to help establish Belfast as an international production hub.
The paid internship runs from mid-June through to the start of September.
All students currently enrolled on a media course are eligible to apply to the scheme, which has the full support of all course tutors and trade body NI Screen.
All candidates must be aged 18 and over, as well as being interested in pursuing a career in TV Production and currently studying a media-based qualification.
Tom Popay, Head of Development at Stellify Media, said "Having started my own career in TV through an internship I know how valuable they can be in helping young people break into the industry. Many people don't even know there are jobs in TV production, let alone where they can get advice or experience working for a producer. Stellify remains fully committed to finding and nurturing a new generation of passionate, skilled and hardworking talent so we're very excited to be launching this new initiative."
