Tanker Carrying Animal Blood Involved In Crash In Co Armagh

A major incident has been reported in Co Armagh after a tanker, believed to be carrying animal blood, left the road and crashed into an embankment, bringing down power lines earlier today, 30 May.

Three people are being treated in Craigavon Area Hospital following the incident on the main Portdown to Armagh road, near the junction for Sandymount Road.

There have been no reports of the condition of the three people of how they were involved in the collision.

The site of the tanker has been sealed and is being treated with caution as it is not yet known if the tanker may be spilling hazardous material.

The road is closed and police have said that it will remain closed until the tanker has been removed and any potential spillage has been dealt with.

Man Dies In Incident Involving Tanker In Ballyclare
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man was killed in an incident involving an oil tanker in Ballyclare, Co Antrim. According to reports, a man is believed to have become trapped under the tanker on the Ballyrobert Road at around 13:50 on Thursday 01 July.
