Flagship Media Supports Cool FM Cash For Kids Day
Flagship Media Group is supporting Cool FM Cash for Kids day.
Staff at the publishing firm are taking part in a sponsored pool tournament to raise money to help thousands of disadvantaged children all over Northern Ireland.
Craig Kearney, who helped organise the event and is also an employee at the firm, said: "We are delighted to contribute to the Cash for Kids charity as they make a real difference to disadvantaged children across Northern Ireland. Local business support combined with their ability to help children is a combination which can only benefit the community."
A number of other local firms, schools and groups are also hosting fundraising events across NI and individuals are being urged to join the fun and help raise money for such a prestigious charity.
The money raised for Cash for Kids Day will help create opportunities for children and young people and will make a real difference to their lives.
Cash for Kids is the official charity of Downtown Radio and Cool FM.

Industry urges NI to ‘play safe’ with cash cards
Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. However, despite a fall in Northern Ireland figures the rest of the UK saw an average rise of 85% in fraudulent cash withdrawals over the same period.
