Bus Lanes For Belfast Glider Service Come Into Effect
Bus lanes developed for the new Belfast Rapid Transit Glider service came into effect today, Monday 23 July, in west Belfast.
The lanes will operate from 7am to 7pm from Monday to Saturday.
The Glider buses do not start running until 03 September, however the Department of Infrastructure said opening the lanes would give drivers a chance to get used to them.
The lanes are being phased into operation between McKinstry Road roundabout and the city centre - on Stewartstown Road, Andersonstown Road, Falls Road and Divis Street.
