Two Arrested After £30k Cannabis Find In Portadown
Two people have been arrested after police discovered £30,000 worth of cannabis in a car in Portadown.
The grey-coloured BMW was stopped in the Armagh Road area at around 1.30pm on Monday, 23 July.
Cannabis worth a street value of £30,000 was found in the boot of the vehicle.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The male driver of the car, and the female passenger, both aged 21, were arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs related offences and taken into custody where they remain today, assisting with police enquiries."
The car has been seized and further items were recovered in follow up searches at two properties.

A man has been arrested after police seized herbal cannabis, worth an estimated £75,000, in the Enniskillen area. Police stopped a car on the Belfast Road in Tamlaght on Wednesday afternoon and found the drugs. The arrest came during a wider investigation into organised crime gangs.
