Water Supply Restored To Over 40 Homes In Co Armagh
Over 40 homes in Meigh, Co Armagh, who were forced to use bottled water after diesel was found in a disused pipe have had their normal supplies restored.
NI Water confirmed the 43 households in the Carn and Green Roads area can now use their normal water supplies as the problem has now been fixed.
In a statement, the firm said: "NI Water is satisfied that the action taken to flush water out of the system has been effective. Monitoring results have been shared with the Public Health Agency and they have advised NI Water that customers can now use water in all the normal ways."

DRD Water Service has made substantial progress in implementing a series of recommendations designed to prevent a repeat outbreak of cryptosporidium in the public water supply. The measures were outlined in a recently published report into the cryptosporidium contamination that occurred at Dunore Point water supply earlier this year.
