PSNI Recruitment Drive To Open On 01 October
The PSNI have announced that their Recruitment Campaign for 2018/19 will being accepting applicants on 01 October.
Those interested in a career in policing are advised to go to the Join PSNI website (link below), where information on eligibility and requirements is available.
Ahead of the recruitment drive, the PSNI said: "We would draw particular attention to the education criteria, as all applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at A*–C grade, including Maths & English Language.
"If at this time you do not possess the required GCSEs (or equivalent), we would encourage you to investigate options now that may allow you to meet the education criteria in time for the Assessment Centre stage of this recruitment process.
"For example, this Autumn, some local Further Education Colleges are offering fast-track Level 2 courses (such as Level 2 Essential Skills Literacy and Level 2 Essential Skills Numeracy) which are the equivalent to GCSEs and which could allow you to meet the eligibility criteria. If you successfully complete a Level 2 course in time for the Assessment Centre stage, qualifications obtained will be considered. Please get in touch with your local college for details.
"We look forward to hearing from you when applications open."
