Man Dies After Being Hit By Train In Lurgan
A man has died after he was hit by a train in Lurgan.
It happened at the William Street crossing at around 8.30pm.
Police and the Fire Service attended the scene.
The Ambulance Service also responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a train.
The William Street crossing was closed for a number of hours following the incident but has since reopened. As well as local services, the train line handles the main Belfast to Dublin service.
Sinn Fein MLA John O'Dowd offered his condolences and said it was unconnected to an earlier incident.
"My thoughts and prayers are with the deceased's family as well as the railway staff caught up in the tragedy," Mr O'Dowd said.

Up To 20 Involved In Fight At Ballymoney Train Station
Police are appealing for information following a fight at a Balleymoney Train Station in County Antrim. Up to 20 people were reportedly fighting on a train in the Seymour Street area at around 9.45pm on Saturday. A glass bottle was thrown and smashed and a 14-year-old boy who was injured was taken to hospital.
