Lurgan Man Hospitalised After Being Found Injured On Street

A 50-year old Lurgan man is in hospital after he was found on Edward Street with serious injuries.

A taxi driver found the man this morning, 06 September, at 2.20am.

PSNI believe he may have been in a house in Beech Court at 10pm last night, 05 September.

The man was wearing a white Germany top.

An appeal has been issued for information on the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Were you in Shankill, on Edward Street, or any surrounding area last night? Do you have dash cam footage of the area? If so, please save it immediately, review it, and give us a call if you have caught him on camera.

"Were you out on foot? Did you see this male at all? If so, we need to hear from you.

"Do you have home CCTV that may have picked something up? Please, check it.

"The incident number is 100 of today, 06/11/18."

Pedestrian Involved In Limavady Road Accident

A pedestrian has been involved in a serious road collision in Limavady, Co Londonderry.

The incident took place at around 7.30am on Tuesday, 06 November.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service sent two emergency ambulances to the scene in Mount Eden.

Two Major Resurfacing Schemes Announced In Coalisland

Two major road resurfacing schemes have been announced in Coalisland, Co Tyrone.

The projects on Annagher Road and Gortgonis Road, totalling £215,000, will improve the road surface and address ongoing maintenance problems.

Preliminary works are already underway on Annagher Road with a lane closure in operation. A full road closure will come into effect between 8am and 6pm from Monday 12 November to Saturday 17 November 2018 while the resurfacing is carried out.

Preliminary works will commence on Gortgonis Road on 12 November 2018 with resurfacing to follow during week commencing 03 December 2018. A full road closure will be in operation between 8am and 6pm from Monday 03 December to Saturday 08 December while resurfacing takes place.

Traffic diversions will be in place during the road closures.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
