Man Found With Head Injury In West Belfast
A man has been found with a head injury next to a car in west Belfast.
Shortly before 1.25am in the morning of Thursday 08 November the victim was found next to what police described as a "damaged, older model, black-coloured Ford Fiesta" in the Clonavogie Gardens area of west Belfast.
Upon their arrival at the scene, officers found a man aged in his 30's with a head injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Inspector Boyd said: "Prior to the report of the assault, at 1.20am, we received a report of a vehicle matching the description of the Fiesta, being driven erratically in the Donegall road area where it collided with a wall before being driven towards Clonavogie Gardens.
"Our enquiries are at an early stage, however, we believe these two reports may be linked at this time."
Mr Boyd appealed to anyone with information on either of the two reports, or who was in the area at the time, to contact police on 101.

A woman and her son have escaped injury following a shooting attack in Co Armagh. Shots were fired at a property in the Cloghoge Road area of Cullyhanna on Wednesday, 21 February. Windows were broken in the living room, kitchen and sitting room areas. The woman and child were inside the property at the time of the attack.

A cyclist is in a critical condition after being found with a serious head injury in East Belfast. The 21-year-old man was discovered by a passing police patrol on Woodstock Link at around 8.30pm on Sunday, 17 June. The PSNI have launched an investigation and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Paramedic Attacked By Patient In Co Antrim
A paramedic has been attacked by a patient in Co Antrim. The incident happened at the back of an ambulance on the Ballybogey Road at around 3.30am on Sunday, 03 July. The patient, who had sustained a head injury, lashed out and pulled equipment and dressings from their storage points.
