Death Drivers 'Ruining Community' As Car Burnt Out In Derry
An SDLP councillor has said that death drivers are destroying their own community in L'Derry after a car was burnt out in the Galliagh area on the evening of Monday 11 November.
Councillor Brian Tierney issued an appeal to those responsible for burning a car outside a local shop to think about the damage they are causing.
"This morning young children on their way to school had to pass the remains of another burnt out car in the area," Councillor Tierney said.
"I have spoken to council to ensure that it is removed as soon as possible.
"People are becoming increasingly frustrated with this type of behaviour taking place."
Mr Tierney added that the anti-social behaviour is disturbing residents in the area, and urged the culprits to stop immediately.

New Look has closed its Belfast Forestside branch as part as of a turnaround plan, with the loss of 10 jobs.
It is the first of the popular retailer's 26 Northern Ireland stores to close as part of a Company Voluntary Arrangement, a form of insolvency.
Last week the company announced it would be closing as many as 100 shops in the UK to save on costs and improve profitability.
It's already expected to vacate the unit at Fountain House in the city centre of Belfast, with Primark due to fill the space following the fire at its flagship store, in the neighbouring Bank Buildings.
