Man Held Under Terrorism Act After Fire Reports
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act following a fire in west Belfast in the morning of Wednesday 14 November.
Detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit arrested the 35-year-old man following the reported fire at a house on Rodney Drive at around 9.30am, which they attended along with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) and Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO).
Detective Inspector Anthony Kelly said: "A number of suspicious objects were recovered during an examination of the scene and have been taken away for further examination.
"I want to thank the public for their patience while we worked to make the scene safe.
"The 35-year-old man remains in custody assisting us with our enquiries."

An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

The Home Fire Safety Check coincides with Fire Safety Week, which runs from September 30th to October 6th. The initiative aims to reduce the number of house fires in Northern Ireland.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.
