Karen Bradley: Brexit Deal Will Protect NI Jobs

The Secretary of State Karen Bradley has promoted the merits of the Brexit withdrawal agreement while touring Northern Ireland towns.

Addressing business representatives in County Down, the Conservative MP said the region will be in an "unrivalled" global position to attract future foreign investment, and the region could see an economic boom.

On the other hand, a no-deal withdrawal would threaten jobs and create more division within society, Mrs Bradley warned.

She visited Newtownards and Bangor on Friday 30 November as part of her drive to support the proposed treaty.

"Voting down this deal would leave us worse off," she said, and added that it is a good proposition for everyone in Northern Ireland.
