Teenage Girl Assaulted In Belfast City Centre
An investigation has been launched following an assault on a 17-year-old girl in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Sunday 09 December.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the teenager in the Malone Road and Wellington Park areas of south Belfast, as she made her way towards the city centre.
The victim is described as being 5'4" tall and of slim build, with long brown hair past her shoulders, wearing a leopard print top and a black leather jacket at the time.
Detectives are particularly keen to speak to a taxi driver who collected the 17-year-old, possibly in the Malone/Wellington Park area, at around 6am on Sunday morning and took her to an address in Dundonald.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on non-emergency line 101, or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is an anonymous service.
