New Year's Day Death Of L'Derry Man 'Not Suspicious'
The death of a man whose body was found at a house in L'Derry on Tuesday 01 January is not being treated as suspicious, following the results of a post mortem examination.
The discovery was made at the property in the Lincoln Court area at around 7.20am on New Year's Day.
Four men, aged 63, 33, 32 and 31, and a 32-year-old woman were arrested and later released pending further enquiries.
They have now all been released unconditionally.
PSNI Detective Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family at this difficult time.
"I would like to thank the local community for giving us space to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death."
Sinn Fein councillor for the area, Christopher Jackson, expressed his condolences following the discovery of the body, which he said was a "shock to the local community".
"My sympathies are with the family and friends of this man at this time.
"The police investigations into the incident are underway and must be allowed to continue," Mr Jackson added.
