Ulster Rugby Ban Spectator Over Verbal Abuse
Ulster Rugby has issued a supporter with a lifetime ban from the Kingspan Stadium after verbal abuse was aimed at Irish winger Simon Zebo.
The incident happened during a European fixture against Racing 92 on Saturday 12 January and prompted an investigation by the club.
Ulster Rugby has since sent a letter of apology to both Zebo and his club.
A statement released on Tuesday afternoon said: "Following a robust investigation into allegations of abuse directed at Simon Zebo during the fixture versus Racing 92 on Saturday 12th January, Ulster Rugby has sanctioned a life-time ban on a spectator, for breaching our stadium regulations.
"We would like to thank the many supporters who provided information to assist our investigation.
"We are all very proud of our reputation as an inclusive club and the unacceptable behaviour of this one individual is not reflective of our supporters, or the values of our club.
"We have issued a written apology to Simon Zebo and Racing 92."
The French team said their player had been targeted by "racist insults" during the game.
Following Ulster's 26-22 victory, the winger tweeted: "I hope my ears deceived me with some comments directed my way from the crowd."
He issued a further tweet after the decision to ban the supporter which simply said: "Thank you @Ulster Rugby."

Paddy Jackson's And Stuart Olding's Contracts Revoked
The contracts of Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding have been revoked with "immediate effect" by the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and Ulster Rugby. Last month, the two rugby players were unanimously acquitted of raping a woman at a house in south Belfast in June 2016.

'Nevin Spence Centre' Planned For Ravenhill
A new education and heritage centre being built at Ulster Rugby's Ravenhill stadium is to be named after the late Nevin Spence, who died in a farming accident along with his brother Graham and father Noel in September last year. The centre is part of a £14.7m redevelopment of the ground and will be called 'The Nevin Spence Centre'.
