Man Arrested Over Threats To Kill
A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including making threats to kill, after an incident in Dunmurry over the weekend.
The 38-year-old was detained after and aggravated burglary in Juniper Park at around 6.15pm on Saturday 02 February.
The suspect forced a way into a house in the area and threatened a woman with a hammer before assaulting her, according to the PSNI.
"The female, aged in her 20's, sustained cuts and bruising as a result of the incident. The suspect remains in police custody at this time," the spokesperson added.
Detective Sergeant Gill is appealing for anyone who witnessed the break-in or anyone who was in the area of Juniper Park and noted any unusual activity that could assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101, quoting reference 983 02/02/19.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
