L'Derry Shop Targeted In Armed Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager robbed a newsagents in L'Derry while armed with a butcher's knife.

The incident was reported shortly after 10.20am on Sunday 17 February.

A business in Blucher Street was targeted.

The culprit demanded money from the till before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.

A female employee escaped unharmed but was left shaken following the armed robbery.

The suspect is described as wearing a black rain jacket and a hat.

Police have urged anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have any relevant information, to contact them on non-emergency line 101.

Insurance salesman robbed in Dundonald
Police in Castlereagh are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Dundonald on Tuesday. The incident occurred at around 5.30pm in Longstone Drive, Ballybeen when an insurance salesman was attacked by three masked men, one of whom was armed. The men pinned their victim to the ground before stealing his car keys and a sum of money.
