Thieves Fool Driver Before Stealing Car
A woman's car has been stolen after a thief pretended to be injured to get her to pull over while driving in County Antrim.
The target was headed along the Oldstone Road at around 11pm on Sunday evening, 17 February, when she noticed two males at the side of the road.
While one flagged her down, the other was lying at the side of the road, and the female stopped due to fears for his safety.
However, she was then pushed out of the way by both men who made off in her Vauxhall Corsa in the direction of Moira.
She was not physically injured but was left very shaken.
The car has not yet been recovered.
Police have asked for anyone with information on the theft to contact officers at Newtownabbey on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference number 1412 of 17/02/19.
