Man Hijacked At Knife Point In Belfast
A man has been arrested after a reported hijacking at knife point in the New Lodge area of Belfast yesterday, Thursday 11 April.
The incident happened in Dronore Court at around 11.30am, when the hijacker jumped into the car and produced a knife.
The driver got out of the vehicle, managing to escape any physical harm. Detectives later arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the hijacking or who has any information to contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Man's Car Hijacked In South Belfast
A man has had his car hijacked in south Belfast. Two men, one who was armed with a knife, approached the driver of a Volkswagon Golf parked in Windsor Avenue at around 5.15am. The man was threatened and after a short struggle they drove off towards the Lisburn Road.

Woman Arrested After Fatal Omagh Stabbing
A 36-year-old woman has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Omagh this morning. The incident happened at a house in the Hospital Road area of the town. It is believed the 37-year-old victim, who had been stabbed, died from his injuries. Police have said the attack took place shortly after 3am.
