Stolen ATM Recovered In Omagh
Police have recovered a stolen cash machine in Omagh, County Tyrone.
It was found on the Barony Road on Monday evening, 22 April, by a member of the public.
Ten cash machines have been stolen so far this year and two in the Republic Ireland.
The PSNI are examining the discovery and liaising with representatives for the banking industry to discover where it came from.
NI Construction Firm Recognised In UK Awards
Northern-Ireland construction firm Henry Brothers has garnered major industry recognition for its Maghaberry site in County Antrim.
The company's site was presented with the Silver Considerate Constructors Scheme 2019 National Site Award in Plaisterers Hall, London.
The development of a new £52 million high security wing, Davis House, at Maghaberry Prison is taking place on the site.
It was celebrated for achieving performance beyond compliance scores in all areas of the Code of Construction Practice, setting a high standard and demonstrating an outstanding commitment to improving the image of Construction.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme 2019 National Site Award winners were selected from the top performing registered sites in UK.
Hillsborough Castle & Gardens Open To The Public
Hillsborough Castle has opened its doors to the public following a £24 million five-year refurbishment.
Serving as the Queen's official residence in Northern Ireland, management of the County Down site was took over by the charity Historic Royal Places in 2014.
Alderman William Leathem, Chairman of the Development Committee said: "To have a royal residence open to the public all year round is a great asset to the Lisburn Castlereagh area. Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) has undertaken significant renovations to both the Castle and the Gardens to create a luxurious tourist attraction.
"HRP is a strategic partner of the council and we wish them every success with Hillsborough Castle & Gardens. I have no doubt that they will achieve the predicted high visitor numbers as many will want to see a venue that previously was only accessible by invitation.
"The additional tourists to the area will also benefit the local economy as they will take time to shop, eat and relax within Hillsborough and Lisburn city centre. On behalf of the council I wish HRP every success in the years ahead; and I hope that everyone who visits Hillsborough Castle & Gardens enjoys the experience."
