West Belfast Property Damaged With Traffic Cone
Police are appealing for information after a traffic cone was hurled at the window of a property in West Belfast.
The object was thrown through an upstairs bedroom window of the Glenveagh Drive home on Sunday evening, 05 May.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Not only is this incredibly dangerous as it could have caused serious injury to anyone who had been in the bedroom at the time due to the large shards of glass thrown around the room and bed, but it has also caused a considerable amount of stress to the homeowners.
"This was a totally reckless and dangerous act and has absolutely no place in our community. If you are aware of who has carried out this serious criminal damage or if you witnessed any persons in the Glenveagh Drive area at approximately 2145 hours on Sunday 05 May, we would urge you to come forward and speak to us. If you have any information at all, please call either 101 quoting serial 1586 of 05/05/19, or alternatively should you wish to provide information anonymously, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
"We care very much for our local community and would like to bring the person responsible before the courts as soon as possible to ensure the homeowners get the justice they so rightly deserve!"
