The Virgin Mary- Dublin's First Alcohol Free Bar
Dublin's popular nightlife scene is set for a twist this week as the city's first alcohol free pub prepares to open.
Aptly named The Virgin Mary bar, it will open on Capel Street on Friday 10 May, a welcome addition for those less concerned with dutch courage and more interested in a hangover-free morning after.
As the nation becomes more health conscious, with many adults opting against the sweet, fizzy alcoholic-alternatives served in most traditional pubs, The Virgin Mary, which has adopted the hashtag 'drink different' to its social media campaigns, is likely to prove a hit with many.
The menu will feature new and exciting options, including Ceder's, a distilled non-alcoholic alternative to gin made with intriguing botanicals. Chilled Raven Nitro Coffee will be poured from a stout tap to mimic the texture and appearance of Guinness, while the signature Virgin Mary cocktail will be a hot and spicy alternative.
