Appeal As Tools Stolen From Van In Omagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a theft from a vehicle parked in Omagh.
A van parked on the Gillgooley Road was targeted sometime between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday 22 May.
A number of 'STIHL' branded gardening power tools were taken, including two Kombi engines, two hedge trimmer attachments, one trimmer attachment, one leaf blower and two Husqvarna chainsaws.
All of the stolen items are orange and white in colour.
PSNI Constable Adam Blair issued an appeal for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in a car park on the Gillgooley Road or has any information about the incident, or anyone who is offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact police in Omagh on 101 quoting reference number 1552 of 22/05/19.
Advice Issued Ahead Of Snow Patrol Concert
The PSNI has issued practical advice for people planning to attend a Snow Patrol concert in Bangor tomorrow, Saturday 25 May.
Over 30,000 people are expected to attend the gig in Ward Park, the third time the Bangor band have held a concert at the venue.
Police said that traffic and parking delays are inevitable and have advised as many people as possible to travel via public transport.
No parking will be permitted in areas adjacent to Ward Park between 12 midday and midnight, with designated additional parking spaces at Valentines Park and Bloomfield Playing Field.
At the end of the concert, there will be a full road closure on the Gransha Road, Bloomfield Road, Castle Park Avenue and Broadway for only as long as possible to allow participants to leave the site safely.
Armagh Road To Close For Resurfacing
A road in the County Armagh village of Mountnorris is set to close for resurfacing work.
The £105,000 scheme will see the Drumnahunshin Road improved over a 1.1km distance from the A28 Armagh Road junction to Lisnalee crossroads.
Work will begin on the project on Monday 27 May, with completion expected by 21 June.
A daily weekday road closure will be operated between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm during the works. A diversion will be in place via A28 Armagh Road / McClenaghans Hill / Maytown Road and vice versa.
Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys.

Over 800 young people from schools in Lisburn and Castlereagh attended a hard-hitting road safety message at the PSNI Road Safe Roadshow on 19 November. The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
