Man Assaulted And Struck By Van
A man has been left seriously injured after he was assaulted and then struck by a van in L'Derry.
Detectives are seeking witnesses to the incident in Drumleck Gardens at around 1.40am on Sunday morning, 26 May.
The 32-year-old was taken to hospital following the attack, while the assailant made off in the van, which police believe was a blue Vauxhall.
Detective Inspector Conor McStravick appealed for anyone who was in the area or may know the current whereabouts of the van to contact police at Strand Road on 101, quoting reference 225 of 26/05/19.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Detectives investigate arson attack
Police in Derry are treating an incident in which four vans were set on fire as arson. The incident happened at the yard of the Royal Mail Sorting Office in Great James Street in the early hours of this morning. It is understood a number of youths broke into the yard at about 1:30am.
