NI Rise Five Spots In FIFA World Rankings
The Northern Ireland football team have jumped five spaces in the FIFA World rankings, above USA and Republic of Ireland.
The new rankings see Michael O'Neill's men sit at 28th place, tied with Japan, following a faultless start to the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.
Belgium remain at the top of the list after recent wins against Scotland and Kazakhstan. World champions France, Brazil, Belgium and Portgual make up the rest of the top five.
Northern Ireland will continue their quest to secure a place at the Euro 2020 finals when they face Germany at Windsor Park on 09 September.

Rory Now Third In World Rankings
Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy is officially the world's third best golfer, according to world rankings released this week. The Bangor born 22-year-old won the 111th US Open Championship last week in record breaking style, moving his ranking position up to third - just behind England's Luke Donald and Lee Westwood.

NI Reach 20th Position In FIFA World Rankings
Northern Ireland are at their highest position in the FIFA World Rankings. The team have risen to 20th position in the world after they beat San Marino and the Czech Republic earlier this month. They have pushed up two places ahead of Sweden, Iceland and Costa Rica.

'A' Level School Leavers Increase 5%
The number of pupils in Northern Ireland achieving two or more 'A' levels or equivalent increased by 4.9% during the five years to 2012/13, according to the Department of Education. The proportion of school leavers achieving two or more 'A' levels or equivalent was 55.1%, up from from 50.2% in 2008/09.

Lord Mayor Announces 2023 One Young World Summit
More than 2,000 young people from over 190 countries across the world are expected to visit Belfast in October 2023 for the One Young World Summit, Lord Mayor Councillor Tina Black has announced. A delegation from Belfast will attend a special handover ceremony from current host city Manchester this week.
