Two Sudden Deaths Investigated By Police
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden deaths of two people in west Belfast.
The two bodies, understood to be a man and woman, were discovered at a house in Woodside Drive in Poleglass on Thursday 20 June.
Police and forensic investigators attended the scene and post-mortem examinations are expected to be carried out.
Sinn Fein MLA Órlaithí Flynn said there is shock and sadness in the local community following the deaths.
The west Belfast representative said: "Cllr Stephen Magennis and I have spoken with the family and neighbours of the two people who tragically lost their lives in Poleglass.
"The family and local residents have asked us to appeal on their behalf for everyone to respect their privacy at this devastating time.
"There is a sense of shock and sadness in the community. We send our sincere condolences to the family at this extremely difficult time."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Woman Dies In L'Derry Farm Incident
A woman has died following an incident on a farm in Garvagh, Co L'Derry. The woman, aged in her 70s, is understood to have been working with cattle at the time. The Health and Safety Executive (HSENI) has launched an investigation. A spokesperson from HSENI said: "Our deepest sympathy is with the bereaved family at this sad time.
