'Suspicious Object' Sparks Belfast Security Alert
Police are dealing with a security alert in west Belfast this morning, Monday 24 June.
An operation was sparked following the discovery of a suspicious object in the Old Colin area of Dunmurry.
Parts of the Pantridge Road, the Stewartstown Road and Upper Dunmurry Lane have been closed.
Sinn Fein Councillor Stephen Magennis said the alert has caused major disruption for residents of the Old Colin area, particularly for those travelling to work and school.
"I would urge motorists to avoid the area this morning if possible," he added.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali

'Small Bomb' Found During Security Alert
Army bomb experts have been called to examine an explosive device found at an apartment block in east Belfast. Police said that a number of residents were evacuated from the apartments in the Short Strand Road area at about 20:00 on Tuesday night. They described the device as a "small bomb". No further details have been released.

Two Men Arrested In Connection With Omagh Security Alert
Two men, aged 56 and 29, have been arrested in connection with a security alert in Omagh on Saturday 06 May. At around 10pm on Saturday, three masked men hijacked a silver-coloured Volkswagen Golf in the Fireagh Road area, off the Dromore Road in Omagh.
