Roads Reopen After West Belfast Security Alert
A number of roads on the outskirts of west Belfast have reopened following a security alert earlier this morning.
Army bomb experts attended the scene in the Old Colin area of Dunmurry after a suspicious object was discovered.
A number of routes were closed causing disruption to the morning rush hour. Pantridge Road, Stewartstown Road and Upper Dunmurry Lane have since reopened.
Police Seek Witnesses To Belfast Collision
Police in Belfast are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that took place last week.
The incident between a bicycle and a car occurred at the junction of Irwin Avenue and the Newtownards Road between 5.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday 18 June.
Anyone who was in the area around this time and witnessed the collision is urged to contact investigating officers using non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 2132 of 18/06/19.
L'Derry School Recognised For Environmental Impact
A school in L'Derry has been recognised for its commitment to the environment with a prestigious sustainability award.
St Colm's High School in Ballinascreen won the sustainable school prize at the Times Educational Supplement (TES) Awards 2019, celebrating its efforts to improve the environment at the school and in the local area.
Congratulating the school on its success, Sinn Féin MP for Mid Ulster, Francie Molloy said: "I recently attended the launch of these awards at Westminster and saw the calibre of schools St Colm's High School was up against so this is a fantastic achievement for the school.
"I want to commend the principal, Roisin McKenna, Clare Devlin and all the staff and, most of all, the pupils of St Colm's on their well-deserved success."

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

A record £80 million will be spent on structural roads maintenance this year across Northern Ireland. The figure was revealed by Deputy Divisional Roads Manager, Tom McCourt as he presented DRD Roads Service’s autumn report to Newtownabbey Borough Council. Mr McCourt said: "This is a huge increase in investment over previous years.
