Belfast Orange Hall Attacked With Paint
An Orange Hall in north Belfast has been targeted in a paint attack over the weekend.
White paint was thrown over a fence and wall at the Clifton Street building at around 1.30pm on Sunday 14 July. Police are treating the incident as a sectarian hate crime.
DUP Councillor Brian Kingston expressed disgust at the attack which saw two bottles of paint smashed against the front railing and wall.
He branded the act "an appalling act of intolerance and bigotry by pathetic cowardly thugs".
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 1665 of 14/07/19.

PSNI Confirms Flag Violence Arrests
The PSNI has confirmed a total of eight arrests were made as a result of disorder over the Belfast City Hall union flag issue. Three police officers were injured when missiles ranging from petrol bombs, paint bombs, fireworks and heavy masonry were thrown by loyalist protesters. PSNI vehicles were attacked with hatchets and sledge hammers.

Police Officer Injured During Security Alert In L'Derry
A poliice officer has been injured during a security alert in L’Derry. A police vehicle was also damaged during the incident on the Aileach Road on Friday, 02 June. Petrol bombs, paint cans and pieces of masonry were thrown at officers as they responded to a security alert.

Petrol bombers attack police in Londonderry
Police came under a petrol attack in Londonderry last night while examining a suspect package. Officers were called to examine a suspicious object in Fahan Street in the city. They were then confronted by a crowd who threw a total of 10 petrol bombs and one paint bomb. There were no reports of any injuries.

Police Attacked With Petrol Bombs In East Belfast
Police officers responding to reports of a burning car have been attacked with petrol bombs and paint in east Belfast. The PSNI attended the scene at Castelereagh Street at around 23:15 on Tuesday when they came under attack from youths throwing petrol bombs and paint.
