Pair Cautioned As Dog Dies In Car
Two people have been cautioned for animal cruelty after a dog died while locked in a vehicle on Sunday.
The puppy passed away in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh after members of the public had heroically attempted to rescue it by breaking the car window as temperatures reached the mid-twenties.
Unfortunately the dog could not be saved.
Police said yesterday, Monday 15, that two individuals have been cautioned and will be formally interviewed in due course.
As the investigation is pursued, a PSNI spokesperson warned the public to refrain from posting inappropriate comments online: "We understand that this type of incident provokes a strong emotional response in us as human beings however we would ask that you keep in mind that this is a live police investigation and that comments should be kept appropriate and sensitive to that investigation."

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

Hero Army Dog Handlers Honoured
Murdered soldiers who worked with specialist 'sniffer' dogs during the Northern Ireland Troubles have been remembered. The 'Red Paw' and its work across Northern Ireland was the subject of a special memorial service held in England at the weekend. It was in honour of the six dog handlers and two sniffer dogs killed in Northern Ireland.
