There will also be discussions on research and health promotion issues such as walking to health, what prevents elderly patients claiming their full entitlement of benefits and how patients with first episode schizophrenia are dealt with in general practice.
Poster presentations will examine issues such as violence in general practices, teenage pregnancy, diabetes and the study of language as a barrier to primary care services for refugees and asylum seekers.
