Arrest After Pair Stabbed In Portrush

A male in his late teens has been arrested following a stabbing in Portrush.

Two men, ages in their 20's and 30's, sustained stab wounds during an altercation at Glentaisie Park at around 10.30pm on Thursday 25 July.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A male in his late teens was arrested following the incident and remains in police custody.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the vicinity to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference 2229 of 25/07/19. Information can also be provided confidentially via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
