Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Knifepoint
A pizza delivery driver has been injured after he was robbed at knifepoint while working in County Antrim.
Two men, one armed with a knife, approached the driver in the Lanntara area of Ballymena in the early hours of Sunday morning, 28 July.
The assailants assaulted the victim and held the knife close to his face, before making off with a sum of cash, a pizza hot box and two pizzas.
The driver suffered minor injuries to his face and hands.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives in Ballymena on 101, quoting reference 349 of 28/07/19. Alternatively, details can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
