Woman Dies In Portadown Collision
A woman in her 70s has died in a two vehicle collision in Portadown.
The crash occurred yesterday afternoon, Sunday 04 August, on the Northway shortly before 2pm.
Another driver was arrested at the scene.
The woman was a passenger in a blue Peugeot 108 when it was involved in a collision with a silver Honda Accord. The male driver of the Peugeot, also thought to be in his 70s, was taken to hospital for injuries described as "very serious".
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old driver of the Honda Accord was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The Northway was closed for some time while the area of the collision was examined. It has since reopened to traffic.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dash cam footage to contact them on 101.

A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Police have said a drink driver could have killed or seriously injured pedestrians if the car she was driving had not hit a parked vehicle. The female offender, who is 20 years old, was driving a white car when it collided with another vehicle on the Oldtown Road in Cookstown yesterday morning, Tuesday 09 April.
