Shots Fired At L'Derry Flat

Police in L'Derry are appealing for information following a shooting on Wednesday evening, 04 September.

Shots were fired at the upstairs window of a flat in the Gallaigh Park area sometime between 10pm and 10.30pm.

No one was inside the property at the time and there were no reports of any injuries.

Detectives in Strand Road are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and a motive for the attack.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 776 of 05/09/19. Information can also be provided in confidence via independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man Hospitalised After North Belfast Shooting
A man has been hospitalised following a shooting in north Belfast. Police are probing the paramilitary style incident in the Ardoyne area last night, Wednesday 21 August. The victim, a man in his forties, was shot in both legs. He is believed to be in stable condition today.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Detectives in Coleraine have issued an appeal for information following a report of shots fired at a property in the Tullyarton Road area of the town on Sunday, 21st May. Detective Inspector Lavery said: "Shortly after 11:30pm, it was reported that a number of shots were fired at a first floor flat in the area.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In L'Derry
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in the Grafton Street area of L'Derry on Sunday 9th July. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Gavin McLaughlin said: "Shortly before 11pm, it was reported that a 34-year-old man had been assaulted in a house in the area.

Police Renew Appeal For Information Following Robbery
Police have made a fresh appeal for information following the robbery of an elderly woman in east Belfast last month. The victim, who is aged in her 90s, was robbed in the Aston Gardens area of the Upper Newtownards Road at around 4pm on Monday, 25 April.
