Man Charged Over City Centre Stabbing
A man in his twenties has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing at an office building in Belfast City Centre on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 2pm in the Scottish Provident Buildings in Donegall Square West, adjacent to City Hall.
The victim suffered serious injuries to his chest and arms after he was targeted inside the office building.
The suspect, a 24-year-old male, has also been charged with possessing an article or blade in a public place.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 12 September.

The PSNI have issued an appeal to the public following the loss of two Attenuating Energy Projectile (AEP) rounds during an incident at a hotel in Belfast city centre. On the evening of Sunday 7 May specially trained firearms officers were deployed to a report of a man with a gun threatening staff and guests at a hotel in Belfast City Centre.

Primark Donates £500,000 To Support Businesses Affected By Fire
Retailer Primark is donating £500,000 to Belfast City Council's City Recovery Investment Fund. The fund is being set up after a number of businesses have been severely affected by the fire at the Bank Buildings which happened over three weeks ago. A cordon remains in place and 14 firms have been closed for up to four months.

The Chairman of Belfast City Council’s Good Relations Steering Panel has challenged claims that the Council is not supporting St Patrick’s Day in Belfast. It follows a protest outside Belfast City Hall last week by the St Patrick's Carnival Committee who claim the Council isn't funding this year's event at the City Hall.
