Co Down Firm Launches Recruitment Drive As Market Expands
A County Down based customer experience company is expanding its workforce with seven new recruits in order to meet increased global demand.
Established in 2017, Veriteer employs 16 specialist staff globally and will add a further seven to its Holywood office to develop and service a pipeline of new customers in Europe and the USA.
The firm helps brands organise their entire business around their customers, and build the capabilities needed to engage and retain these customers in a connected world. They partner with some of the largest global brands and high-growth start-ups to help them develop winning customer strategies, create successful customer experiences and deliver ground-breaking initiatives.
Invest Northern Ireland offered £66,000 of financial assistance to report the company's recruitment and marketing goals.
Niall Lavery, Chief Executive Officer and First Veriteer, said changing consumer behaviours have created space for market growth, enabling the firm to grow their team.
"Veriteer's approach is to partner with brands to help them develop long-term, customer-centric, omni-channel solutions that will deliver on their immediate commercial objectives and help them build the capabilities they need for the future," Mr Lavery said.
"We are unique in the market, and we are having to work hard to meet demand. In particular, we are in discussions with a number of global brands based in Europe and the USA and need to invest in both staff and marketing to fully realise the opportunity in front of us. Our latest office openings have been in London and Amsterdam, and we want to make sure that our Holywood base expands in line with our overall growth so that we can continue to bring the best of Northern Ireland to the world's biggest brands.
"We work really hard to offer new Veriteers amazing opportunities and experiences, and Invest NI's support is enabling us to more quickly recruit additional developers, designers and data specialists – as well as invest in market research, market development visits and marketing collateral."
The company is also working with Invest NI's Research and Development team to explore ways to develop the product and increase commercial application.
Welcoming the news of Veriteer's expansion, Mark Bleakney, Regional Manager for Invest NI's Southern Office, commented: "Increasing the level of exports by Northern Ireland businesses is essential for growing our local economy and therefore remains a key focus for Invest NI.
"Veriteer is already exporting over 90% of its sales and has set itself an ambitious target of more than tripling its turnover within the next few years. We are keen to support companies like Veriteer that are forward-thinking and have the potential to quickly grow their customer base, especially beyond Northern Ireland."
