Thieves Target City Centre Businesses
Electrical devices have been stolen from a number of commercial premises in Belfast City Centre, it has emerged.
Damage was caused to the properties on Royal Avenue when they were targeted sometime between Friday 06 September and Sunday 08 September.
Police are appealing for information.
Detective Constable Reynolds said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area of Royal Avenue, Belfast over the weekend and who may have witnessed the incidents or saw anyone acting suspicious, or saw any suspicious vehicles to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 256 of 09/09/19."
Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man Arrested After Cars Damaged In South Belfast
A man has been arrested after reports of vehicles being damaged in south Belfast. Four cars were damaged in University Avenue, Dudley Street, the Cloisters and Rugby Avenue on Thursday, 31 August. A 25-year-old man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The latest jewel of Belfast’s Victorian architectural heritage to be refurbished and given a fresh lease of life is the former Northern Bank in Royal Avenue. Designed in the 1880’s by John Lanyon, it is the new home of Imagine Belfast 2008, the organisation which is bidding for the city to become European Capital of Culture in seven years time.

Cyclist Attacked In Belfast City Centre
A cyclist has been attacked and had his bicycle stolen in Belfast city centre. The incident happened in the Royal Avenue area on Sunday, 17 September. A man was found bleeding from the head after being assaulted. He was taken to hospital to be treated.

Council Workers 'At Risk' Over Flags At Depots
Workers at a Belfast cleansing depot have been intimidated and threatened over an Irish tricolour that has been mounted on their building. According to the BBC, the council workers have said that Belfast City Council has put them "at risk" by not removing the flag.
