Applications Open For FinTru Skills Academy
Applications have opened for the latest intake to the FinTru Assured Skills Academy in the North West.
Twenty graduates will be offered the high quality training places with the local financial services firm, which involve five weeks of industry-relevant pre-employment training.
While no experience is required, applicants must hold a 2:2 degree or higher in any discipline. Submissions will be welcomed until the deadline of 01 November 2019.
The prestigious academy gives graduates a valuable pathway into the growing local financial services sector, with those who complete the training guaranteed a job interview with FinTru.
Director of Skills at the Department for the Economy, Graeme Wilkinson said: "Participants will develop their core business skills and, having completed the training, will provide a valuable contribution to the thriving financial services here in Northern Ireland. They will also receive a weekly training allowance and travel expenses and may be eligible for child care allowance."
The training is delivered at the North West Regional College, in collaboration with Ulster University.
Leah McStravick, FinTrU Academy Manager, said: "To date we have employed over 300 people who have graduated through Assured Skills Academies. With no experience required, this is a fantastic opportunity for graduates in the North West to start a career in financial services and we look forward to welcoming the next cohort of successful applicants."
