Kevin Holland Announced As New Invest NI Chief
Invest NI has named its new Chief Executive as Kevin Holland.
Mr Holland will replace current CEO Alastair Hamilton after ten years in the role.
With over 25 years experience as a global business leader, he will come on board later this month for a transition period throughout November, after which he will take full responsibility as CEO.
Chair of Invest NI, Rose Mary Stalker welcomed Mr Holland to the agency, saying: "I am delighted that Invest NI has secured Kevin as its next Chief Executive. Kevin is an experienced global business leader with more than 25 years international expertise leading and advising business growth and investment in over 50 countries.
"He was an outstanding candidate bringing a strong combination of international business experience and leadership skills. Kevin will ensure Invest NI continues to build on the strong progress which the organisation has made under Alastair's leadership."
Ms Stalker also paid tribute to the outgoing chief Mr Hamilton as he prepares to vacate the post. She continued: "I would like to acknowledge and thank Alastair for the dedication, commitment and focus which he has provided to Invest NI and his wider contribution to advancing the Northern Ireland economy over the past ten years.
"Together with my Board colleagues and the team at Invest NI we look forward to working with Kevin as he takes up his new role at a challenging time locally, nationally and internationally."
Mr Holland will officially join Invest NI in just two weeks time, Monday 21 October.

The firm has offered £983,000 to support the multi-million development of a luxury hotel and spa at Killeavy Castle Estate. Invest NI Chief Executive Alastair Hamilton visited the historic estate at Slieve Gullion with Australian investor Mick Boyle.

A report published by UKTI, Inward Investment Report 2013/14, has shown that Northern Ireland has outperformed the rest of the UK regions in attracting foreign investment.
