Car Stolen In Lisburn Burglary

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information after a car was stolen during a burglary in Lisburn.

Suspects targeted a house in the Ayrshire area of the city sometime between 11pm on Wednesday 09 October and 12.30am the following morning.

The individuals gained entry and subsequently removed the occupant's car keys and took the vehicle.

Those living in the area are urged to come forward if they witnessed any suspicious activity. A police spokesperson said Constable Patton can be reached at Lisburn Station by calling 101.

Appeal Issued For Missing Lisburn Man Thomas McKeown
The PSNI in Lisburn have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas McKeown. The 52-year-old was last seen at around 11.12am in the centre of Lisburn on Tuesday 11 June. Police said that Thomas is a "vulnerable adult" and they are keen to trace his current whereabouts.

Education Minister, Maria Eagle, has announced that Charley Memorial Primary School, Drumbo Primary School, Hillhall Primary School and Lambeg Primary School will close at the end of August 2007.

Four Arrested During Lisburn Vehicle Stop
Four people have been arrested during a vehicle stop in the Lisburn area. Police stopped the vehicle, a Skoda Fabia, after the new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Intercept Team identified the car as connected to a number of thefts and attempted thefts in the Armagh and Lisburn areas.
